This is a special month. I was able to start out this month being part of the finale performance of the All Souls Procession which is held in Tucson, AZ. Upwards of 200,00 participants come together and process down the streets for two miles that end in the ceremonial burning of the urn. The urn is filled with the hope, offerings and wishes from friends and family for those who have passed. Unfortunately, it had been rainy all day. We processed and got onto the stage, and two minutes before we were to start our show, the sky opened up and there was a downpour and crazy lightning, so we had to cancel. But even though we were unable to put the show on that night, the Urn was able to be lit and we sang one of the songs of our show with all our heart. I was able to spend time with dear friends and colleagues.
