We started April with a bang! I was part of a a concert series with the wonderful vocal talents of Vox Musica. Each of the three shows were in a different location which was very interesting! Marco Lienhard, a wonderful taiko player, shakuhachi player and leader of the group Taikoza (based in New York) was also part of this series. It was great fun to have a little time to talk to hang out and play. If you are in the Sacramento Area and Vox Musica has a performance, please go and see them!
And then it was off to Japan! It is time to head to Sado island for the Katsuga Ondeko Matsuri. I have not been back in a long time, so seeing my Sado Family was WAY overdo. The weather was beautiful with only a small amount of rain. I already want to go back!
