My students at CUP and CCA continue to work hard towards their end of the year concert.
This month the Sacramento Taiko Dan Youth Ensemble performed at the Kite Fun Fly event. This is the second year for the event and it was definitely bigger this year. I love this gig because it gives my youth apprentices a chance to perform without too much stress. They did a great job!
Cultural assemblies with Sacramento Taiko Dan and AGC (Any Given Child) are continuing. We met an adorable festive bearded dragon class mascot at one of the assemblies! The little hat 🥰
I have started my school residency program this month. Each school has a specific equipment load in and out based on classroom space and class size. Sometimes, I need to move all the classroom tables/desks in order to set up! It usually takes me two weeks to get my load in and out time as efficient as possible.
