October got here so quickly, I can’t believe we are knocking on the door to the holiday season! I started off my month with the 30th Anniversary of The Folsom Lake College El Dorado Center. This is where Mountainside Middle College High School’s campus is located. A couple of my taiko students played during the celebration.
Sacramento Taiko Dan played for another grand opening of Uniqlo, this time in the city of Roseville at the Roseville Galleria. It was a fun grand opening, some friends came to visit and yummy cookies were included!
I was able to spend time with my family with a trip to Disneyland! It was a much needed break. We closed down the parks every night.
At the end of the month, we held our annual Sacramento Taiko Dan Youth Halloween Party! It’s may favorite. I love to see everyone dressed in their costumes. We did an art project, played taiko, and had more treats than we knew what to do with! Of course, no pictures of the kids but I promise you, they were super adorbs!
