This month, Sacramento Taiko Dan Celebrated its 35th year! There was a small celebration at SJUMC, which is where the group got its start. It was so lovely to be in the room with so many that I had not seen in a long time. What a great family! I am extremely grateful to Tiffany Tamaribuchi and the members of Sacramento Taiko Dan past and present, for supporting me throughout the years. ❤️
This month I had the fun opportunity to be part of Uniqlo’s Grand opening in our area Mall! This is the first Uniqlo in the Sacramento area (Finally!). I had never played Taiko in a mall before. It was fun! We had 4 performances throughout the day, and the acoustics were great! I will be part of another Uniqlo opening in the city of Roseville at the beginning of next month.
I LOVE when the students take the time to make Thank You cards! Recently the students at Marble Valley Academy did just that! So adorable and it made my day! 🥰 Thank You!!!
